Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for students in grades 4-12. The purpose is to encourage students to read good books and have fun while
competing with their peers. There are three divisions which students may enter based on their grade level.
Battle of the Books will be held at the Yorba Linda High School on February 4,
2012.
HIGH SCHOOL (grades 9-12) and MIDDLE SCHOOL (grades 6-8) teams will Battle in
the morning hours.
GRADE SCHOOL (grades 4-6) teams
will Battle in the afternoon hours.
CHECK-IN start times:
9th-12th grade 9:15 a.m.
6th-8th grade 10:00 a.m.
4th-6th grade ODD NUMBERED TEAMS 11:45 a.m.
4th-6th grade EVEN NUMBERED TEAMS 12:00 p.m.
BATTLE start times:
9th-12th grade Battles will begin at 9:30 a.m.
6th-8th grade Battles will begin at 10:15 a.m.
4th-6th grade Battles will begin at 12:00 p.m.
9th-12th grade 9:15 a.m.
6th-8th grade 10:00 a.m.
